Meet the Air Assurance team

Read more about David Rampey
Starting at age 7, David spent his summers running service with his dad, learning the value of treating customers with respect, honesty, and integrity. In 1985, David’s family started Air Assurance, building their reputation for doing just that. Many summers, spring and fall breaks, and any other time throughout high school and college were spent installing, servicing, and ultimately, designing comfort systems.
After graduating from Harding University, David went into the corporate world working for Hormel Foods as an account manager covering over half the United States until he had the opportunity to buy the family business. Since then, David has continued the Air Assurance tradition of putting the customer first, while providing superior comfort solutions for residential and commercial customers alike.
If you know anything about the Rampeys, you know their name and their reputation means absolutely everything. This holds true in everything they do within their business by putting their name behind their work and giving their business that personal touch so many companies lack.
David loves to give back to the community through serving in several different capacities. He has served as President of the Broken Arrow Rotary Club, on the executive board of the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Broken Arrow, and Junior Achievement.

Jeff is a proud US Navy Veteran with extremely strong customers service and organizational leadership skills. He spent over 25 years with Johnson Controls winning multiple awards over the years for many different aspects of management. We were fortunate enough to lure him over to our team where it didn’t take long for him to show how intertwined he was with us in making sure and taking care of the customer the absolute best way possible. Jeff really aligns well with our passion to develop world class employees and customer service. Jeff enjoys spending his time away from work at a family cabin on the north shore of Lake Superior in northern Minnesota as well as spending time with his wife and two children.

Charlie is from Tulsa, OK but has also lived in Phoenix, AZ and Minneapolis, MN and joins the Air Assurance leadership team with over 20+ years in leadership and management positions ranging from department management, store management, and regional management level.
He has been in the heating, air conditioning, & plumbing industry for 14 years serving clients in different roles as a consultant for replacement equipment, call center/dispatch manager, service manager, sales manager, and also on the advisory committee for several local colleges in Tulsa, OK. Today, he views his role as serving – for the people he works with everyday, in our community serving our residential and commercial clients.

Tony is a family man that was raised in Northern California. Though he was raised in the Golden State he considers Oklahoma to be his home. Tony spent 10 years in the steel and specialty metals business before deciding he needed a change. It wasn’t until his own air conditioner failed that he recognized the importance of air conditioning in Oklahoma and started to get interested in learning HVAC. Tony graduated from technical school in 2009 and started his career with Air Assurance as a install apprentice working his way up to his role today. If you ask Tony what he loves most about Air Assurance he will tell you, “The people that work here. We have a fantastic group that truly cares about our customers and each other.” When not working to support his team or to supply the best customer service in Tulsa, Tony is spending time with his wife and children.

Josh has many years of experience in residential and commercial HVAC industry, including service, retrofit, and new construction projects. Today, Josh leads a team of professional commercial installers and service technicians for Air Assurance Company.

John Johns has been a dedicated team member at Air Assurance for over 11 years. Beginning his career as a service technician, John’s commitment to excellence and continual growth quickly earned him promotions to Field Supervisor and now Plumbing Manager. Throughout his career, John has completed extensive training in all areas of plumbing, including specialized courses in tankless water heater systems and medical gas certification. He also holds his LP Installer License along with numerous product-specific certifications, demonstrating his broad expertise and adaptability in an ever-evolving industry.

Christian comes with a diverse background in the HVAC Industry. He has worked for Air Assurance Company for a number of years. He has been an installation crew leader for a number of years installing new ductwork, designing zoning systems and installing new HVAC equipment. After years in the installation department, Christian joined the team of service technicians, responding to HVAC service needs and performing system maintenance.

A lifelong resident of the Tulsa area, Stephen, his wife and two young daughters proudly call Broken Arrow home. For as long as he can remember, Stephen has been active in the community, and he feels honored to continue to be able to give back to his community. Most recently, Stephen has been involved in Leadership Broken Arrow, the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce, the Broken Arrow Young Professionals, his church, and a local competitive soccer program.

As a comfort specialist, Jay will get to know you and your home to discover what needs and solutions Air Assurance can bring to you and your family. 20 Years ago, Jay started his HVAC career as a Comfort Advisor with Air Assurance. Jay has an extensive background in the industry, working over 5 years as a brand manager for a heating and air conditioning manufacturer in St. Louis, Missouri. Jay is anxious to share his knowledge and education with you so you can make an informed decision regarding your home comfort needs.

David has been a member of the Air Assurance family for over 25 years. After graduating from OSU Okmulgee, David started his career with Air Assurance as a service technician. Over the years David has advanced his career through completing hundreds of manufacturer, industry, and business education certifications in route to becoming installation manager. David oversees the Air Assurance Quality Assurance program from the installation department as well as providing additional support within the service department to ensure the highest of standards are consistently met in order to provide you with the very best installation possible.

Michael is a long time resident of the Broken Arrow area where he lives with his wife and two sons. He enjoys volunteering at their school, and his Church, Asbury United Methodist. Michael is a past president of the Tulsa Ski Club and Flatlands Ski Association. After retiring from the Army Reserve in 2016 as a Lieutenant Colonel, Michael now spends his free time, when not at work or with family, volunteering or biking with the Air Assurance Bike team.
With over 24 years experience in the HVAC industry, Michael holds a mechanical contractors license and a Master of Arts Degree from OU in Organizational Leadership.

Melissa moved from Texas to the Tulsa area with her Husband and two kids back in 2017. She has been managing for over 23 years with fourteen of those years in the HVAC Industry. She is passionate about leading by example and building a strong team. Her direct interaction and direction have propelled our team into exceptional growth focusing on teamwork and serving our customers. In her spare time, she enjoys country living, fishing, camping and boating.

Air Assurance began in 1985 with Mike and Narissa Rampey, and was later joined in ownership by their son David in 2003. Today, they are proud to maintain the largest full service HVAC and Plumbing fleet in the Tulsa metropolitan area.
Air Assurance specializes in residential and commercial comfort solutions including heating, air conditioning, indoor air quality, geothermal service and installation, and plumbing services. Air Assurance’s philosophy is to provide the best possible service to its customers.
